CARE ADVICE
CARE ADVICE & WARRANTY
Plating rubbing off naturally occurs with general wear and tear, and is not considered a manufacturing fault.
You can follow these simple steps to help your gold plated jewellery last longer:
- While our jewellery is water-resistant, we recommend that you remove jewellery when exercising, showering and swimming and ensure to wipe completely dry after coming into any contact with moisture in order to ensure that your pieces last for a longer period of time.
- Exposure to cosmetics, chlorine, soap and other chemicals may lead to tarnishing. Allow perfume, lotions and creams to be absorbed into skin before putting on your jewellery.
-
After use, clean jewellery gently with a soft dry cloth to remove any oil or dust and restore their shine.
-
If you wish, cleaning the jewellery with a jewellery polishing cloth and soapy water (or silver/gold polish) will maintain its original beauty.
-
When not in use, store your jewellery individually in a jewellery box in a cool, dry place to prevent oxidation, scratching and chains getting tangled.
- Please be careful and prevent your jewellery from knocking into counter tops and rubbing against each other. Jewellery damaged by misuse or mishandling by the customer is not considered a manufacturing fault.
-
With time and wear, sterling silver will naturally become oxidised and eventually tarnish. Storing sterling silver jewellery in an airtight box when it is not being worn will keep out the air that causes oxidation.
We offer a 6-month warranty against manufacturing faults from the date of purchase on items with proof of purchase. Our warranty covers faulty items only. It does not cover general wear & tear, damage caused by misuse or mishandling. Please refer to our care instructions above for general care instructions.
